Create a spinning logo
Posted by Morgan Pflanz on August 23, 2007 at 11:30 pmI’m trying to get a logo made in zaxwerks to spin, but only show the front when it rotates. I tried to mirror it but it didn’t come out right. Thanks in advance for any help.

August 24, 2007 at 4:05 amHow about just modelling it so that the logo is on both sides of the model…

August 24, 2007 at 1:11 pmYou could just make an animation of the front rotating, then dissolve to a copy of the same anim as it rotates edge-on to camera? Hopefully you won’t see any issues during the dissolve …

August 24, 2007 at 3:22 pmI did try that, but it looked odd because there are holes in the logo that show through to a background image.

August 26, 2007 at 6:01 amHi,
The trick is to split your Invigorator layer when your set’s rotation reaches 90 degrees (Profile). Then alter your second Invigorator set rotation to fit your needs (Minus value)
Check the archive in the Zaxwerks forum if you want more details.
Salut.
