create a 16:9 template
How do I create a template in Motion with a 16:9 format to bring into final cut? I’m new at this and VERY frustrated. Please use small words so I understand…I’m new the whole world of video editing!

Make a custom preset in Motion with the PAL D1/DV anamorphic setting. Actually, thinking about it there might be a correct preset already built – all my machines are already set up. (Broadcast PAL 16:9)
When you bring the project into FCP, toggle the anamorphic box on in the browser.
You might have to toggle the ‘correct for aspect ratio’ setting in the view menu in Motion to display the project correctly.
