I’m working on a project in PP CC 7.2.2 because it’s a legacy project and I don’t want to update CC versions and OS versions in middle of this. I uprezed the Apple SD timeline to a 1920×1080 size using Red Giant Instant HD. It looks fine, and I’m (re)making titles in this timeline which look crisper than uprezed titles.
Static titles look fine. But a weird thing is happening with crawls, either based on existing titles or created new. My practice with crawls has been to drag them to a longer length on the timeline to make them crawl more slowly. But crawls I’m pasting in now zip by unreadably in 5 seconds, even though the title clip is much longer on the timeline. (sq pixels 1.0)

If I create crawls from scratch, instead of based on a previous title, I can extend or shorten them like normal to change speed. But they are crawling in a jerky, sticky way, not running smoothly.

I’d be grateful for any thoughts on this.
