  crashing!

  alrighty after a few weeks of really poor performance and lagging, stuttering playback… now premiere pro cc 2014.2 is crashing “randomly” every 2hrs or so…

  my operating system specs:
  Yosemite 10.10.2
  MacPro early 2008
  processor 2 x 2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
  memory 16 GB 800 MHz DDR2 FB-DIMM
  graphics ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT 256 MB

  I know i’m pushing with the “old” Mac Pro but surely I should be able to do basic 2 camera edits using footage that’s been dumbed-down from AVCHD MTS 1920×1080 to 1280×720 mp4 files (in order to help the jittery playback)

  Help? what can I do to prevent crashes and improve performance… replace my graphics card? to what? help?
