Crash may be cause by KGCore plug-in???

My issue was also solved only when I deleted both the waveform cache and the thumnail cache…..Back to work!

Had same issue here, tried trashing prefs and creating a new projet. Nothing did it. Finally figure a way out : re-encode the original media. Luckily for me it was a quick news cut with only 3 files about 15min each. I simply encoded them in the same format through MPEG streamclip (prores) and then no more KGCore error !
