    Hi,

I was so happy to work 130+ hours on a project over the last 3 months and only have the occassional crash.

Now, my twelve minute project, and any of the few hundred previous versions of the project are crashing after a few mouse clicks.

I had turned off System Restore against my better judgement last month and now I regret it.

The only thing I did was enable my network connection to my other computer to transfer over a .jpg, and while that was open and I was connected to the internet, I update Adobe Reader.

I just scanned for virus (from my other computers scanner via network as I don’t have anti virus installed and don’t usually go online) and it’s clean.

I did notice a huge .jpg photo that was hard to control in the Motion effects control window while I was trying to scale it down to fit the screen and am wondering it this 300 meg .jpg caused the problem. But if it did, why would previous versions of my project crash?

I noticed there are some audio clips I cannot select anymore, and if I do by dragging a box around it, they still can be moved or shortened.

One last thing, my computer is a Quad core, 4 meg memory, audio/video only with not much else installed (I did uninstall Adobe Reader, but didn’t help).

Any help would be appreciated as I’m pretty upset over this.

    Thanks.

I’d start by trying to move some medis and see if the prject runs any better. All your projects being a problem would indicate a strong possibility of a media file that’s common to all of them has become a problem.

    Hi Tim,

    Ok, thanks.

The one mp3 file that wouldn’t allow me to choose by alt right clicking and can choose only by dragging around it, seemed buggy, so I brought it in again to a new track (I know, I shouldn’t probably use the same one right?) and then I deleted the first one, and the project is a bit better so far.

Thanks again and I’ll try to find another version of the song so I can import a fresh mp3 file.

    Jerry
