    Hello,
    I am having trouble exporting a project using quicktime conversion. After I alter the setting and attempt to save FCP crashes. Any basic ideas of what may be going on. FCP 5.0.4 on an old powerbook. It’s 24p footage if that makes any difference.

    First thing to do is trash your preferences and export again. Sometimes the preferences get corrupted and it will cause FCP to do strange things. At the sign of oddities, trash preferences. That should resolve a significant amount of odd FCP behaviors.
