  CPU lag when stretching movie clips

  hey there everyone,

  This is my first post, so i hope I will be detailed enough with my problem. So here I go.

  Whenever I press ctrl and drag my videoclip to less than 75% of its original clip speed (for example: drawing tutorial speed ups etc) my preview device starts to lag really bad (Like running on Best-full preview mode with lots of effects).

  I was wondering if there is any function where vegas will discard any unwanted frames, instead of compressing all the frames to a new clip, i was messing around with resample options but no succes.

  Any help is appreciated.
