    Radio Detection and Ranging

In this video tutorial, Jerzy Drozda Jr (aka Maltaannon) demonstrates how to create a radar that really works! You’ll draw the radar, animate the target over it, and watch how the radar detects the object by itself, marks it on the grid and even makes a beeping sound.

Click on the link above to find Maltaannon’s latest tutorial.

Would be cool if I could download the movie to view locally. The Flash feed appears to be way too big or too dense for my corporate connection.

What I could see looks like an awesome application of deeply esoteric AE magic.

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”

Jerzy informed me that he had a hard drive failure on his website — those things happen. He’s working to get his site back up though, so check back.
