[Tim Kolb] “[Mike Cohen] “the new feature which bugs me most is the titles being part of the project file – to have to export titles just to use them in another project is ridiculous -”
Yeah…that has been voiced…extensively.”
On the other hand, if the media management were capable of moving bins instead of only the whole project to another project, having the titles as part of the project file is a bit of a plus, isn’t it? Perhaps that’s the road map?

David,
It means that the audio to project ratio has to be either 1:1, 1:2 or 2:3 for Premiere Pro not to conform. For example, if your audio is at 48khz and that is the same as your project then it should be fine. Similarly it goes for 32khz audio in 48khz projects.

Yes, only 1/2 a point. I base my reviews by what they have improved and then start taking of points for what they should have improved on.
Media management is a big thing and I am currently working with 18 hours of footage in one project and the initial steps of organizing footage seems to be a pain, but it gets the job done. If it was a complete show stopping thing, then I might have given in 2 or maybe even a 1.

January 17, 2006 at 10:06 pmso can you make subclips in the bin from raw footage or from the sequence?

Possible… I know that it does unfortunately add some steps to my workflow as when we do spots for clients over several years, we’re constantly transporting titles to new projects…
I suspect there will be more in the way of asset management development on the way…the self-contained title thing does help those who don’t do a very thorough job of keeping track of their media, but I’ve never been one of them.
