Cow Advise on New M100HD system
Been m100 since ’96. always bought seagates & a scsi enclosure. bought 844x with included “Raid” CONDOR. Just bought m100hd and I’m looking for feedback/experience on your favorites and “don’t even think ’bout buying” RAID systems.
And the first question…..G5 dual 2, dual 2.5, or 2.7? much gain in speed vs. compatibiity?
second question…..FIBRE or ULTRA 320?
So far I narrowed the “M100” recommended down to 2. HUGE U320-RX & APPLE XRAID.
Is it easy to configure an array by buying drives separately(cheaper) ?Any direction would be much appreciated……
