  • coverting instance object to editable doesnt convert the keyframes

i just build a bigger scene including
instance objects ( a null with a cube inside )

    now it turns out
that there are no keyframes existing after
making all the instances to objects.

    a little bit disappointing now,

    is it the only truth?

    not much checkboxes available..

    thanks,
    Ronny

I’d have to see the scene what I think you are taking about should work

    well sure!

    here you have it..

finally i done it by keyframing it afterwards again,
it seems like also it will not spread objects
into the disired layers from the original object…

    thanks,
    Ronny

I see where the animation went – it’s really a null in a null which then has the objects in it and it’s the ‘inner null’ which has the rotation. When made editable you only get the animation of the outer object (the top null) which doesn’t have any animation. Xrefs would do what you wanted but not instances – though you could have done instances of the ‘cube’ null and put those in place (position/scale/rotate) and it would have worked.
