    Hey guys,

This is my first post, but I’ve learned so much from these forums. Thanks for all your help!

I am working in motion with a transparent backdrop (it’s for a stock ending that I can place over a series of videos)

My vision is that the outside video source would be playing through the base transparency, an image would fade in in the corner and grow, partially transparent, over the video. As it grows it will reveal a logo and copyright verbage in the lower third and then fade out.

Using blending layers and the “Preserve Opacity” function, I can achieve the effect, but because the layers are blending, the colors of my logo are effected by the growing image. How can I keep the logo hidden, but in front of the transparent background until it is revealed by the growing image layer while maintaining the colors in my logo?
