This plug-in was working for me 1 week ago, not sure what I’m missing…

Error Message Reads: “CoverFlux Plug-in Could Not Render Because Some Assets Could Not Be Loaded: If this plug-in loads assets such as images or RSS feeds from disk or the network, please make sure that the resource it is trying to access is available”

The resource I’m trying to access is available. I also tried using the plug-in in FCP, same error. In fact, error occurs before I’ve designated a directory path, then gives me the spinning beach ball and locks me up. Other Industrial Revolution Plug-ins work fine. I’ve trashed Motion & FCPs preferences & repaired disk permissions. Thoughts?

    Jason,

So have you done anything different from last week? Installed any updates etc?

Peter, no, I don’t think I’ve done anything different, other than maybe a Security Update.

    I’m running Motion 4.0.1 and FCP 7.0.1 on a 2 x 3 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon, running OS 10.6.2.

I tried the plug-in on a colleague’s machine (which it was also working on 1 week ago), and I got the same error. The error actually occurs the moment the CoverFlux effect is applied (before you even seek out a directory path). So the error message seems to be incongruous with whatever is actually causing the error.

I agree with your logic though, something must have been recently introduced to the equation that is causing the error.

I would contact tech support for idustrial revolution, who makes that product.
