Could a eSATA Hub cause any problems when editing on FCPX?
Hi Guys
For editing with FCPX 10.1 on a iMac (27-inch, Late 2012), which has thunderbolt ports, would it be possible to connect a 3TB G-Speed Q external hard drive via its eSata connection (it doesn’t have thunderbolt ports), via something like a LaCie eSATA Hub?
If so, could the eSATA hub cause any problems by running the video data through it rather than directly to the external drive?
Would it be better for FCPX editing to purchase an external hard drive with a thunderbolt connection?
