  costum edge with illustrator for proAnimator

  dear digital friends!
  i couldnt find any good instructions, how to make a simple costum profile with illustrator to use in ProAnimator for 3d text
  i want to do an edge profile, which doesnt create a OPEN object. everytime i load a selfmade profile
  my object has holes…
  how does edge profiles work to be one smooth surface?
  any suggestions?
