corrupted videos at Canon 70D using un-formatted memory card
please I need Urgent Help
I have a nikon D5200 with 16 GB memory card recorded some videos and captured some pictures and all are stored at my memory card ..
today I borrowed a Canon 70D from my friend to shoot some videos , got the videos
but when I went home and checked the videos on My laptop it was in a very bad condition worse than mobile camera resolution
maybe I should format the memory card before using it on the canon camera?
can I retrive the video resolution?there is a folder named “EOSMISC”
there is a file inside that folder “M2100.CTG”Many thanks

Yes, every time I insert a card into the camera, the first thing is to format before shooting.
.CTG do not contain any video data. Therefore they cannot be converted to MOV files.
Is there any file in the card? And what format is that bad condition files?

There appears to be nothing wrong with it. It’s a 720p file, according to the metadata you show–the clip you posted looks like a 720p clip should look, maybe a touch underexposed.
