Corrupt avi export
Hello everyon,
I had a project in FCP 5.0.4 that ran 82 minutes long. I needed to export it to avi for another company to use it. After exporting a DV/avi movie I discovered that while my file was about 17 GB in size, it only played the first 4:28 of the video. I ran the export again and exactly the same results. I tried a test and tried rendering a 10 minute clip and that worked fine but when I tried a 40 minute clip all I got was 2:01. I also tried exporting a non-self contained QT, moved it over to another mac with FCP 5 on it tried the avi export there and once again got a 17 GB file that only plays the first 4:28 of video. Any ideas or suggestions? (I finally just had to export a QT which we then brought into Vegas and exported an avi from there) Thanks in advance.
