Correcting video levels inside window frame
Hello,
We have a shot of two actors in a well lit interior with a bright exterior window behind them. We would like to correct only the bright video coming through the window and not affect the rest of the shot. Re-shooting is not an option. We’re using Vegas Pro 10. Anyone have ideas as to which Vegas or other tools we might use to best correct this shot? Thanks in advance…Terry Hirsch

Color Curves would be my tool of choice for this.
If you can put up a screenshot, we can make more detailed suggestions and maybe even a preset for you.
