Using widest angle on the Sony EX1, there is a certain barrel distortion. Yes, I know there is on almost every zoom lens, and I have learned to avoid it when shooting certain motifs. But I have one footage I really want to correct in post. Someone mentioned After Effects. But is there a filter for FCP?

Look under Distort? The two humble Fisheye effects have a range that goes negative. It’s not as good as a real lens or optical correction algorithm but it might do the job for you.

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”

    Hi, bogiesan!

I have gone through all filters, and all seemed unappropriate, too extreme. But I´ll check them.
