I have some video tapes sent to me that the talent is consistently RED in the face. Bars are set up correct, it’s just his face and hands–set looks normal. What is the best way to correct the red tint:

Proc Amp Filter adjust hue and chroma
    Color Correction Filter
    Other?

Is there an good workflow for this or just adjust until normal?

    THANK YOU!!

    Steve,

The Apple 3-way color correction filter is really the proper CC tool you should look to in FCP for most of your needs. If you go to the Ken Stone website there is a terrific tutorial that will get you up to speed quickly. Once you correct one clip to your liking of course you can copy that clip and pste its attributed to the other clips to apply the same CC filter to them.

3Way CC tool is the best tool within FCP to deal with this. If you have FC Studio 2 then you also have Color which can deal with this incredibly easily using the Hue Curves. Just a very small reduction in the Magenta portion of the curve does wonders for red faces. I have to do this quite a bit.
