    Hi everyone!

Just wondered if there is a clever way of making sure the audio levels are ok for broadcast.
The station where we send our commercials want the average sound level at -6dBu and a peak level of -3dBu.
Wouldn’t it be great with a filter that constrains the levels within these boundaries?
    Would Compressor/Limiter do the trick?

    Thanks for any input,
    Erik J

The FCP manual is quite clear on setting audio levels for output to various standards.

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”
