does anybody know where I can get a font that has the copyright symbol and publisher symbol, trademark symbol etc.? I also need a font that has music notation symbols (sharps, flats, clefs, etc.). Thanks

the COPYRIGHT symbols can be found in MS Word under INSERT SYMBOL OR use the number pad and it’s ALT 0169

I usually use the Wingbat font. When I forget where it is, I type the alphabet, change it to Wingbats, pick out the symbol there. Just type in the corresponding letter and change that one character to Winbat.

An easier way is to go to to the Character Map applet. It’s been in Windows as long as I can remember (going back to 3.0 at least). It will show all characters in the font, allow you to pick and copy that one character, and show you the ALT-### keypress.

On XP, you can find it at:
Start – All Programs – Accessories – System Tools – Character Map.

The location varies depending on your version of Windows.
