Copyright-free image resources
Hi all. This may not be the exact forum to post this in, but I couldn’t find anything else that came close the subject, and I figured others who use PS/Ill. would be interested in this as well.
I was wondering if anyone out there knew of some good sources of non-copyrighted images, such as the Library of Congress (I understand that different works have different copyright restrictions). Are there similar catologues out there?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

If you don’t mind paying for them ArtBeats and JumpBacks have stock footage on a buyout basis. For free footage (paid for by your tax dollars in the US) http://www.NARA.gov is a great resource for specific topics. Some do have copyright restrictions so read the info on each image or video resource. We paid for film transfers to HDCam of a couple hours of WWII footage for a documentary on local WWII participants.

Thanks. I wish these government archives were a little easier to navigate, but how much can you ask for when its free?
