I need help again. I’m using VEgas 8 Platinum. In previous version I could copy the audio track from a video clip and paste it onto a separate audio track. Now, when I copy on the audio track, it copies BOTH the video and the audio, pastes them both on tracks and when I cut the video, it also cuts the audio. I’m assuming their locked together,so how do I separate them? How do I copy just the audio part of the video clip to a new separate audio track?
    Thanks,
    Bruce

Yea the behavior changed with version 8.0. What you need to do is either turn on Ignore Event Grouping (Ctrl+Shift+U) (not sure if that is available in the Movie Studio version) or just press the U key to ungroup the video and audio. You can select both events and press G to group them again later.

Yep, great! I found out that there is also a button on the top tool bar to unlock. Had no idea of the “new” method. Thanks so much. I just love this bulleting board. You guys are the best!
