  • Copying Text Attributes from 1 .psd to another?

Posted by Eric Pautsch on March 31, 2007 at 2:04 am

    Hi Folks

I have several .psd files with text containing several different styles applied to them. I need to copy these same styles to another .psd

Is there any easy way to copy these styles/attributes then paste them onto text of another .psd??

    Thanks
    Eric

The are copy and paste Layer Style options available under Layer>Layer Style.
Unfortunately there is no way to save a layer style as a new preset in Elements as in the full version. I created a .psd with my favorite text styles for later copy/paste use.

In CS2. after creating your new style, open the Style palette wing menu and choose “New Style” to create a preset to be applied later.
