copying picture profiles from an ex1 to an ex3
Hello folks-
I’m the proud new owner of an EX3 and this is my first time using an XDCAM, so am just getting familiar. So far, so good. A friend with an EX1 sent me a setup.suf file containing several picture profiles. My EX3 will not open and transfer them over. I have copied too an sxs card with no luck. Any clues?

I went through the same issue and got it done in a few steps.
First I went through the steps on the card in the camera ( I don’t have it in front of me but it involved hitting the “Store” button in the menu. Apparently that created an EX-3 SUF file on the card.
I then opened the sxs card on the computer, and copied my EX-1 SUF data into the EX-3 SUF file.Its under the SONY menu that appears under BPAV – about five or six steps down.
Now when I switch cards back and forth I have the same PP data in either camera.
