Copying clips
I am trying to copy multiple 3 and 4 second segments from a hour long clip and paste them at the beginning of the program for an intro. I cannnot seem to figure this out. What am I missing I know it is probably really easy.

Why not just put them on a different track and cut the extra stuff ?

If they are on the timeline, Select them > Copy> go to new postion in the same timeline or even a new sequence and Paste them.
Select by Dragging around them or Shift-Click (maybe Ctrl-Click ?)
