  Copying and pasting between two open Sony Vegas 9 programs

  Hi,
  I have been trying to copy a portion of an open project from the timeline, into a second open instance of SV pro 9. This used to work OK, but now if I select a sequence of clips on the timeline in a loop region, when I go to paste them in the second open SV 9 program, only one of the half dozen clips actually pastes. Does anyone have a clue as to how I can get it to work? Much appreciated,
