  • Copying a Group with Track Motions

I understand how to create a Group and copy/paste it elsewhere. Effects copy with the Grouped events. But, since the Track Motion settings are track-related, as opposed to event-related, I have not figured out how to carry these Track Motion settings with the copied Group.

Is there a way to copy a Group with these Track Motion settings?

You would have to copy the Track Motion keyframes separately.

So, to same a Group of events that have various Track Motion effects, is saving as a Project File the best (only) way to go?

I understand that Vegas can import these into other Project Files without rendering them (although they import onto a single track).

    Thanks!

I would say that using nested VEG files would be very useful in this case.

    Hi,
once I needed a similar operation, I duplicated the track that held important trackmotion, and then just modified the copied track to my need.
That seemed more simple to me than copying every single trackmotion keyframe.

Another way to move more tracks together is making them child track,
and use parent motion on parent track.
Any track you later add to the child tracks will move together 😉
