I decided to create a copy of one of my DVD’s created in Vegas since the original footage has been long gone from my hard drive.

I hooked up the red, yellow, and white wires from my DVD player to my Sony computer. However the completed product is nowheres as good as the original. Would it have been better if I had used a i-link EEE to connect from the DVD player to my computer? Not sure…
    Thanks

You will get degradation doing it that way.

Your best solution would be to copy the VOB files from the DVD to Vegas
