Copy XDCAM disc from HD to XDCam Disk
I copied some XDCam disks to a PC hard drive – sent the originals off. I want to use Sony PDZ-1 software to screen and log – but it doesn’t see the files on a HD when they are copied randomely as I have done. I want to copy them back to an XDCam disk so I can work with them in the Sony software environment. I can’t – XDCam disk is write protected. I tried PDZ-1 FAM COPY feature, it will not work with these files. I do not have a network card to try FTP copy. Does anybody know how to copy an XDCam disk copy(from a hard drive) back to an XDCam deck? I am using a PDW-F30…help appreciated…

I know I am responding to an old post but maybe this will
help someone.
In my case the we are use the pdw-f70 and simply needed to
upgrade the firmware. I don’t know why since we bought it new
but there you go.
