Copy “easy” moving object movie which contains a few strokes
Hello everybody,
Who can help me,
I am a beginning After Effects user and I want to copy a moving cycling object (duration max 2 seconds). This object (example
) contains a few moving strokes.The cyclist is moving, the wheels are rotating, the “mountain” (blue line in the video) changes and you’ll see the shadow of the cyclist on the wheels and the shadow of the wheels on the mountain.
What is the fastest way to copy this object.

What do you mean by “copy?” Are you looking to re-create the animated cyclist from scratch?
The first thing would be to build the individual pieces: the cyclist and a wheel.
You should build the wheel in more of a circle so you can animate it by rotation, then scale it disproportionately in only the Y dimension to flatten it down a little. (Otherwise it will rotate from wide to tall and back.)
Once you’ve got the cyclist drawn, you can animate his or her motion with the Puppet tool.
