Copy Color Corection Settings to the 3rd clip??
I have been Color Correcting with FCP for a while and am thinking that there must be a way to get the Color Correction settings to a clip that is 3 or 4 edits further in the time line. (This clip has a CC on it already I just want the setting to be transfered)
Right now I am dragging the CC plug in on the clips but if there is a CC plugin on the clip already it adds a second so I have to go in and delete the first one, it is a real pain!
Any one know a better way to do this?

Unfortunately there isn’t a better way. However it would be neat if it worked so if a destination filter was selected when you hit Paste that it forced an overwrite from the source filter rather than adding it to the list. One for a feature request perhaps –

Just right click the clip you’re about to apply the new CC to and choose Remove Attributes > Filters. Then apply the new CC.
This only works if the CC is the only filter on there as you can’t select individual clips.
