I have a timeline with nine layers, I’m dividing it up with splices and would like to move sections from one timeline to another. When I do I copy and paste (for reasons I don’t understand) one or more of the audio tracks gets crossed patched to the wrong channel. I would love to be able to do something that I used to do in avid media composer all the time which is copy something and dump it clipboard source side monitor (command -> Clipboard Contents) where I have the ability to monitor source timeline and check or correct the patching from audio 1 to 1, ch2 to 2, etc.

If this is not possible, an alternate solution would be to move what I copied into a new Sequence. Think of these sections I’m copying as Modules, it would be great to have them in a bin each with unique names. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
