When you copy and paste between AE and Premiere Pro I know text will not be brought over. So if I have a clip in Premiere Pro on the time line and need to make some FX changes. I copy and paste into AE and make changes then copy and paste back to Premiere. Do I delete the clip of the timeline and then paste in the one I changed? Text will be fine because it is on layer right in Premiere?

And for more major effect changes I obviously have to render out. Seems copying and pasting is similar to dynamic link almost except both only play what the program offers effect wise right?

Just trying to figure out best workflow for effects between the two
