Activity Forums Adobe Premiere Pro Copy and paste shortcut

    Hi Stephen,

    Probably more than one way to do this in Premiere, which is the case with many procedures, but I would select the clip(s), CTRL-C to Copy, position playhead at new position and CTRL-V to Paste them.

    Jeff,
    Thanks for your help, I understand how to do that. I’m looking for a way to do it as described above. If I have a clip on track 2 and copy and paste it, it will paste on track 2. The way FCP lets me do it lets me move it to say track 3 real fast. Hope I’m making sense.

    New in CS6: select clip, hold ALT (option Mac?) and drag.
