Copy and paste shortcut
Looking for some help to find a keyboard short cut. In FCP you select the clip or clips then hold down Option and Shift. You then can drag the clip any where you want and it is a duplicate of the clip or clips you selected. How can I do that in Premiere?

Hi Stephen,
Probably more than one way to do this in Premiere, which is the case with many procedures, but I would select the clip(s), CTRL-C to Copy, position playhead at new position and CTRL-V to Paste them.

Thanks for your help, I understand how to do that. I’m looking for a way to do it as described above. If I have a clip on track 2 and copy and paste it, it will paste on track 2. The way FCP lets me do it lets me move it to say track 3 real fast. Hope I’m making sense.Stephen Smith
