copy and paste crash
I have a project that crashes when I copy and paste and certain events. These particular events are in a different directory than the majority of files which don’t crash the program. Any ideas as to why this is happening?

No, but you might try simply copying one or more of the offending media into the directory where events are OK and see if the problem persists. That way, you could isolate whether it’s the media that is the problem or something related to the drive itself.

Is this different directory on a separate hard drive?
