    Select a clip in the sequence
    Copy
    paste and it always goes to track 1

    How do you control where to paste a clip?

    Thanks.

    Hi Chris,

    If you click on a track name on left side to HIGHLIGHT it, that should then be the targeted track.

    Make sure that only the track you are copying to is selected.

    That was it thanks again Ann.

    Now, another question please;

    You know how in PhotoShop or AE or most apps really, you can hold down the shift key (mac) and drag an item, a layer, and it locks it to horizontal or vertical, how do you do this in APP?

    Many times I duplicate a layer and drag it across the screen.
