  • Copy an edited effects filter like a 3-way to another clip?

This one must be easy, and I am sure I shall kick myself.

Copy and Paste Attributes (CS5.5) does all filters at once! Not useful.

When I try and drag the name of the edited FX from the Effects panel in the source monitor to a clip on the timeline, I get a “not possible” little hand icon.

    Am I missing something?
    Thanks
    Astrid

Select the name of the effect(s) in the Effect Panel. Cmd+C to copy (Ctrl+C on a PC). Select the clip you want to apply them to in the timeline. Cmd+V to paste (Ctrl+V on a PC).

Well, I knew it was going to be obvious! Thanks for pointing that one out. Actually loving Premiere in general. It is for the most part, the Final Cut 8 I always wanted.
