Don’t know how it is over there but eBay here has 5,1 MP that are very reasonable if you get a dual 4 core then buy buy used fast 6 core chip and swap out. it a pretty damn fast reliable quick setup with say a Gtx 980 inside.

The tube is really fast and compact but has gpu/os that doesn’t work. $10k and it doesn’t work. Should be a class action suit. Only way this crap ever gets fixed.

It’s a custom build machine from Mediaworkstations.net. They specialize in machines for our industry. It’s this model:

You should have a conversation with Christopher Johnson there if you are considering a change. He’s great to deal with and is very patient with us former Mac guys.

Mine is dual 10-core Xeon, 128GB RAM with three Titans. I’d be happy to post Cinebench and Resolve standard candle test scores if you’d like. In short though, it’s a monster.

What UI gpu you have and os drive?

I see some insane pcie os drive options there which make any os snappy as hell.

Yeah, the nMP limitation is worrying. Especially as I just bought aa $9K 12-core just to handle Resolve and Red Dragon footage.
