  • Cool Video filters? Epic video transition?

What are some cool video effects I can use on my footage? I’m making a short film for a summer camp about a game with Vikings. Something that makes the video look historical or scary, rustic, gritty.. something cool.

Also, the song I’m using is an orchestra piece that builds up and then cuts out all of a sudden and I want a good video transition that makes it look “epic” or intense. something like bright light that just takes over the whole screen until it cuts to black..

Do you mostly have to get plugins for a lot of cool transitions and effects? where do you get those? do I have to use motion to make them? have to learn motion…

I like Nattress Film Effects and it’s only $100.

cool, thanks for the suggestion. I’m not really making much money doing this right now but I’ll check it out for later.. or try to convince the camp to get it for me.

Anything that comes with the program that anyone can suggest for now?
