    How do you accomplish that Cool Monochromatic look that I see So many times on posters and album covers and print ads. Where they practically make the persons face look like smooth chrome or something.

    Without seeing a picture of what you’re referring to I can’t really help.

    But there is one cool thing you might find fun. Duplicate your layer, desaturate it, turn the blending mode to overlay.

    Experiment with different levels of desaturation and opacity. (I love using adjustment layers grouped with the copy.)
