Cool free text tool
Can’t remember where I found this link, but there’s a free text generator in the Subtitler demo folder that is just great for simple titles. It has outlines, decent shadows and great auto kerning, everything you ever wanted in the Apple version only it all works.

well yes, it works.
However, the real power lies in that it can be controlled by XML.It was designed to make the output of my subtitle prep / tranlation / timing tool instantly in FCP.
(that’s why it’s bundeled with Subbits)But if you find other use for it, be my guest. It’s free.
