  converting/switching from FCP basic title tool to Borsi 3d (bundled) tool

  hey all,

  i have a tedious issue that i’m hoping to make less tedious, but am stumped.

  i’m re-cutting a job that was shot in HDV and has simple lower 3rds and TONS of subtitles. all of the titles was done in the basic fcp title tool. the problem is – ALL the titles need renders as the drop shadow in the basic tool requires this alothough boris 3d gives me realtime with drop shadow. it’s driving me CRAZY to re-ediit and have to constantly re-render.

  is there ANY way convert titles from the basic title tool to the boris 3d (bundled) title tool OTHER than re-write each title..? or at least some tips or tricks to speed up the process?

  and of course, when i cut and paste text from basic title tool it comes into Boris 3d as black and small (an exact copy from the text that is in the basic title tool interface).

  any thoughts would be greatly appreciated…
