  • Converting Time Code into Audio Track?

Posted by Tobias Heilmann-schuricht on January 22, 2006 at 2:47 pm

    Hello!

Does anyone here know of a way of converting the time code in my time line (or a clip) into an audio track?

The idea is to be able to play back this SMPTE TC Audio Track from any audio device to a TC reader for example.

Thans a lot for any advice!

Since the sequence TC is simply an ascending count, you could just capture wild audio from any TC generator and set it to the same values as your sequence. Record that as an audio input and then place that track on any audio track of your TL. If you capture with a visible TC window, you will be able to identify the specific TC inpoint for editing purposes.

    Sincerely,
    Oliver
