  Converting Telegram audio for Premiere Pro editing

  Hallo ☺

  I’m doing some long distance work with someone and they are sending me audio messages via the Telegram App. I’d like to edit these audios into a project on Premiere Pro.

  After some googling, I worked out one approach (outlined below) however it didn’t work out (explained below), so it would be great if anyone can advise of a good solution…?

  Attempted approach:
  1. Shared the Telegram audio file from my mobile as an email attachment.
  2. Downloaded audio from email onto my laptop.
  3. Audio would only open in VLC where I could listen to it fine.
  4. In VLC converted file into a m4v movie file.
  5. Opened m4v file in Premiere Pro, however the audio was full of static noise.

  Btw I also have Telegram on my laptop (mac), so if there was a way to download audio direct onto my laptop (and select format of audio clip?) that could be an improvement. Of course, I googled for ways to download audio direct onto laptop, however they didn’t match the Telegram interface on my laptop.
