  Converting SD subtitles to HD…

  Looking for guidance on converting subtitles set up for a 4×3 timeline, so that they will function well on a 16×9 timeline. Right now the plan is to use Digital Heaven’s plugin to create a text layer(s).

  We’d like to get started subtitling now, using the 4×3 show, but are concerned that we’d have to re-do too much if it goes to HD.

  Backstory:
  We’ve translated a show from CCTV, China, and only have a 4×3 version at present, converted from DVD. We’re negotiating for an HD version. We’d like to get started subtitling now, using the 4×3 show, but are concerned that we’d have to re-do too much if it goes to HD.
