  • Converting Quicktime reference to MPEG2 via Sorenson Squeeze

    Hello,

I use Avid Xpress Pro 5.5.3 and Quicktime pro 7, and Sorenson Squeeze 4.3. I follow the “DVD Workflow Using Avid, Sorenson 4.1, and AVID DVD” Am able to convert my movie to quicktime reference, check it and it works, But when I try to convert it via squeeze, at 91% I get the message: “The movie file cannot be found wihtout this file “”” , the movie cannot play properly” Then I can either search or cancel… of course both are useless… What am I doing wrong???? I read on other posts that using Quicktime 7 might be the problem, tried version 6.5.2 and now Avid was unable to recognize Quicktime at all and nothing worked (Unable to even export from Avid)
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Make sure you have the ‘use marks’ and ‘use enabled tracks’ DESELECTED… You’ll find it in the options settings….

Why would it be a problem to have for example enabled track selected?
