Converting .MTS to MXF is giving 2 mono audio tracks instead of 1 stereo.
I might be overlooking something but I don’t see any way to get a single stereo audio track with my .MXF files I have converted.
Is there a trick to this?
The reason I need this is that I just finished a project which i didn’t realize has a spanned MTS. file. So now when I’m exporting I get sluggish results (as in 12+ hours for 30 minutes of footage). I’ve already mixed the stereo audio track with “fill Left” and “fill Right” effects. So a simple “Replace Footage” edit (to swap the MTS with a MXF) would be ideal.
Or should I just do a .MOV and call it a day? I like MXF, but I’m open to other options. The least compression the better.
Thanks!
Stephen
